My opinion on road to a better Nigeria and a call out for reorientation of the mind, by Jonathan Isaiah.
Arise o compatriots, youth at home and in the diaspora!!!
Irregardless of your tribe, ethnicity, religion, what you fly, what you rep, where you belong, blue, black, yellow, red, white.....let's unite and save ourselves from oppression and humiliation.
Freedom is sure when the power of unity is not broken..... Let's not allow this peopleand their so called (government) play on our intelligence, using our head and making us enemies of ourselves....Creating enmity between all tribes, ethnics and religions in Nigeria....so as to destabilise us and divert our minds from seeing the light thereby using our time to accumulate wealth, maintain power and authority, and pass it on to their offspring and members of their class and cabals as if is their birth right.....we the masses give them this power and authority, we are the armed force they use for protection, yet we beg them for arm, we provide food for them, they eat the most nutritious meal, drive the best cars, sleep in big mansion and best hotels around the world, access better medical care yet the poor children die of malaria everyday, they have a lot to spend even more in stock for latter use while an average poor man on the street live below a thousand naira daily, their children have better and quality education and study in world class schools, but give us substandard education for free thinking they are helping us, yet we still pay tax, the poor till the ground and work so hard for them to have food to survive in the city, or do they farm in the city?.... They have everything under the expenses and the detriment of the poor Nigerians who elect them their to protect their interest...
Yet some men will invade the poor Nigerians who are still striving and hustling under the sun, under the rain, in order to feed themselves, sustain their families with little or no support from the government... Burn their houses, brutalise and kill them mercilessly, kidnap their wives and children, rap and abuse them, and make life unbearable for them.
When election period is near, they will come and share rice and Maggi and promise heaven on earth afterwards they will not fulfill their promise and still continue to disunite them by propagating insurgencies in the country creating tension and fear causing disunity by engineering evil acts such as bombing churches and mosque, car parks and malls, creating confusion and diffusing the mind of a peace loving, hardworking and dynamic people of this country against each other , turning their mind upside down and making it a room to propagate evil for one another, killing one another without doing a careful analysis to know the root cause of the problem and the most painful part is that this only affect us alone (We the masses) we kill ourselves, because they cornily make us to see ourselves as enemies of ourselves.
According to #Gen_Abacha's famous quotes: If insurgency lasts more than 24 hours, the government have a hand in it.
The question is,
Are the #Bokoharam or #theherdsmen to powerful than the Government?? Or are they too difficult to tackle with the gallant Military men and other gallant armed forces in Nigeria?? Something to ponder on.
Meanwhile some people are still looting the money meant to tackle this insurgency, am bittered in my heart and dropping tears for this state of calamity in this country......
Is it the mess happening in the national Assembly, or the one our very own father and beloved president calling us the youth lazy....
#Buhari made the speech while speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday. The president said a lot of Nigerian youths have not been to school and they want everything for free.
According to the President, *“We have a very young population; our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. More than 60 percent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free.”*
With due respect Mr president,.... saying that your children are lazy (the youth), is like you are been ungrateful and bias in your remarks because this youth fought and worked so hard to place you where you are today, there hard work has make you and your present state of achievement in life today, many of the youth lost their lives just for you to be on that seat today, is it the incident that happened in #kano #kaduna #Niger and other part of Nigeria that many youth lost their lives while jubilating and celebrating that their hard work has paid, that their rescue and saviour who promised them a lot has won the presidential election....this are electorate who are of high expectation from a president elect, great leaders and great inventors who are waiting for their
