(POEM) THE GODDESSS IS NOT TO BE BLAMED by YEMI ADEWUYI

Prelude:
It was 'OYA' the goddess
Sango wouldn't have been a god or a goodness
She was always a flowing river
Sango begs her to live forever
She was always a spirit
She became human just for humanity
And for sango'sympathy

Poem lines:
A goddess was born around the early 60's
Her parent were middle class,so they live in different cities
Her birth was never a misery
Her birth was more than a story
Now,her birth has become a history with a lot of mystery

She was named after a holy and a beautiful place
The sky smiles, the moon dances and the stars sing praises
In a polygamous family she was begotten
Her birth was one in town,it was never forgotten
People were much fed and they went home rejoicing

Now,she has growned tall and beautiful
Her name speaks for her and make her life meaningful
She was never from the Christ-like
Always like the Virgin Mary, she acted right

She has went to learn a profession
Named in sizwe bansi is dead,a book of passion
She was intelligent, wise and full details vision
She was hardworking and always on a mission

Suddenly a heart robber came in
What a good lookin guy,she thought in
She never knew,he came to steal her culture, religion and family
She was blind with love and they both agree to form a family
At first the love looks fresh and was refresh
